About this policy
PencilFace, LLC provides Dumb Apps. The app does not require a PencilFace account. The $0.99 app
purchase and the $4.99 Dumb Apps Pro downgrade are handled through Apple’s App Store. It covers the
app itself; visiting the PencilFace website or contacting us involves separate services.
Information in the app
PencilFace, LLC does not collect personal information through Dumb Apps. The app does not send your
gameplay, progress, or settings to us. We do not use advertising networks, tracking tools, or third-party
analytics, and we do not sell or share app user data.
Progress saved on your device
Dumb Apps saves game progress and settings locally on your device so they remain available between
sessions. PencilFace, LLC cannot access this locally stored information. To remove it, delete the app
rather than offloading it. Device backups may retain a copy according to your Apple backup settings; you
can manage those backups through Apple.
Purchases and Apple services
Apple may process information when you download the app, use the App Store, back up your device, or
choose to share diagnostic information with Apple or developers. These services are governed by Apple’s
privacy policy and your device settings. Apple processes payments. PencilFace, LLC does not receive
your full payment-card details. The app uses Apple-provided purchase and entitlement information to
confirm purchases, unlock paid features, and restore eligible purchases. Apple may retain transaction
records under its own policies; deleting the app does not delete those records.
When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address and any information you choose to include. We use that
information to answer your request and keep it only as long as needed for support or applicable legal
obligations. Our email service provider processes the message to deliver and store it. You can request
deletion of support correspondence by contacting us.
Children’s privacy
The app does not collect personal information from children through gameplay. Purchases are subject to
Apple account settings and parental controls. Please avoid including a child’s personal information in
support messages.
Policy updates
We will update this policy if the app’s privacy practices change, including if additional online features or
analytics are introduced. The effective date above identifies the current policy.
